Kerstin studied business administration at the ESB Business School in Reutlingen (Germany) and Reims Management School (France) and holds an MBA from University of Ottawa (Canada). She started her career with Siemens AG in 1995 as assistant to the Head of Global HR of the telecommunications division. Over the following years, she assumed a variety of HR roles with Siemens including the role of Head of Global HR in an acquired start-up company in Boston (USA). During a restructuring phase in 2009, Kerstin Wagner developed an innovative placement concept and established an internal placement & recruiting team as well as an in-house temporary employment agency. As Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Siemens from 2009 to 2012, she was responsible for global employer branding and recruiting strategies, concepts and tools. In June 2012, Kerstin Wagner was appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition at Deutsche Bahn Mobility Logistics AG. Her responsibility includes the global employer branding and recruiting strategy, all talent acquisition activities in Germany as well as the management of the group’s temporary employment division. The talent acquisition journey has a clear goal: Deutsche Bahn wants to become top employer by 2020 and recruit around 7000 new employees in Germany every year..."A job like no other."
